Community impact services
We are currently managing several high impact philanthropy services to accelerate the development of the community. We are eager to work with like-minded partners, so do get in touch if you would like to work with us.

Virtual Donor Advised Fund
Mercy Mission UK has a unique experience in providing incubation services and tactical grant making in the United Kingdom. After fifteen years of building high performance programmes and managing grants for our strategic objectives, since 2021 we have opened our platform to support individuals, family offices and organisations achieve their philanthropic aspirations.
Through 2021-2023 we will be running a pilot program for donor advised funds (DAF) service for select partners. Through this new programme we will be bringing our wealth of experience and network to optimise the giving of our partners. This service is a major development for the Muslim community in the UK, as has been developed with support and engagement from leading legal, social impact and technology voices.
If you would like to work with us in establishing a virtual DAF, please do get in touch with our team: [email protected]
Youth Empowerment Fund
One of the great jewels of the crown of the Muslim community is that it is the youngest community of Europe. We have the largest proportion of young people in Europe, and Mercy Mission UK is committed to ensuring new, smart and innovative pathways are designed and delivered for them to fulfil their potential.
Through the course of 2022 we are working with select partners to deliver enterprise projects which provide an alternative route to independence, confidence and selflessness in young people across some of our major urban centres in the UK. If you would like to connect with us about bringing one of our enterprise projects to your city, please do get in touch with our team: [email protected]

The New Dawn Initiative
Enterprise and trade have been at the very heart of Islamic civil society engagement from the earliest days. This rich heritage which has empowered countless Muslims through migration over the centuries is something Mercy Mission UK is looking to learn from and build with in contemporary Britain.
The New Dawn is a unique project to invest in refugees and new arrivals to enable them to be able to build a future. Working with the University of Bradford for training and development and the National Zakat Foundation for Zakat grants to eligible entrepreneurs, we are creating new pathways to enterprise.
The project is currently in its pilot phase with twenty entrepreneurs and is receiving unprecedented support from the leading businesses of the city, the local authority, the university, and other major stakeholders.

Endowment
In 2020 we conceived a vision for Islamic endowment based giving in the UK. Our dream was to create a mechanism by which everyone who wanted to endow wealth would have the opportunity to through a well-managed investment platform. This project, now operating as Waqfinity, formerly the One Endowment Trust, is working with charitable partners and select social impact investors to acquire assets for civic benefit. We are overwhelmed by the support we have had and are fully committed to working with third sector partners to raise the largest social impact endowment platform of the country.
